At Healan Window Films, we stand behind the quality of our work and the films we install. Every project is backed by both a manufacturer’s product warranty and our own workmanship guarantee, giving you peace of mind long after the install is complete.

Manufacturer Warranty Coverage

All window films we install come with a warranty from the film manufacturer. Coverage may vary depending on the product and application (residential vs. commercial), but generally includes protection against:

  • Peeling

  • Bubbling

  • Cracking

  • Delamination

  • Discoloration or fading

Most of our residential films come with a lifetime limited warranty, while commercial installations typically include 10–15 year warranties, depending on the film type.

We will provide you with a warranty certificate or documentation from the manufacturer after installation.

🛠️ Workmanship Guarantee

We also offer a comprehensive workmanship warranty. If any issue arises due to an installation error — such as lifting edges or poor alignment — we will return promptly to correct the problem at no cost.

Our guarantee does not cover damage caused by:

  • Improper cleaning or chemical use (e.g., ammonia-based products)

  • Scratching or gouging the film

  • Tampering, removal attempts, or intentional damage

  • Pre-existing damage to windows or seals

  • External factors such as natural disasters or construction debris

🧼 Care & Maintenance Requirements

To maintain your warranty coverage:

  • Do not clean the film for 30 days after installation (this allows proper curing)

  • When cleaning, use soft cloths and ammonia-free cleaners (we recommend mild soap and water)

  • Avoid sharp objects or rough scrubbing pads near the film

What is Not Covered

  • Glass breakage or seal failure (unless you purchase optional glass break/seal failure coverage)

  • Film installed on glass types not approved for tinting

  • Issues resulting from failure to follow care instructions

If you have concerns about coverage for specialty glass or unusual conditions, please let us know prior to installation — we’ll advise on risk and recommend film accordingly.

🛡️ Optional Glass Breakage & Seal Failure Coverage

For added peace of mind, Healan Window Films offers an optional glass breakage and seal failure warranty available with select film installations. This coverage provides protection beyond standard manufacturer warranties by covering damage that could occur as a result of installing window film on insulated or specialty glass.

📌 Key Terms

  • Coverage must be purchased at the time of installation

  • Applies only to windows approved for coverage after inspection and glass metering

  • Coverage is limited to the affected window only

  • Coverage term typically ranges from 3 to 5 years, depending on film type and glass

  • A deductible or maximum reimbursement limit may apply based on project size and film selection

🚫 Exclusions

This add-on warranty does not cover:

  • Glass or seal failure caused by pre-existing damage or manufacturing defects

  • Impact breakage (e.g., from rocks, hail, or vandalism)

  • Installations on glass types not approved during consultation

  • Improper maintenance or environmental stressors unrelated to the film

Pricing for glass breakage/seal failure coverage depends on:

  • Number of windows

  • Type of glass (single, dual-pane, Low-E, etc.)

  • Type of film installed
